If you are a parent of a boy, you are the owner of jeans with holes in them. I know that my boys get holes in their jeans faster than the time it takes for me to do a load of laundry. They are rougher, crazier and on their knees more than girls, blah, blah, blah. We all know it. My 9 year old daughter has maybe put her knees through 2 pairs of jeans in her whole lifetime. My 11 year old boy has done 2 pairs of jeans in the last month.
But, I am not lamenting over all of my childen’s holey jeans or clothes any longer! How would you like to have a store that will replace any of your children’s worn out clothes (as long as they still fit them) as many times as needed? Sounds too good to be true, but it isn’t. I just returned a pair of jeans this weekend and walked out of the store with a brand new pair for free.
SEARS offers this in their FREE Kidvantage program. I have had at least 6 pairs of jeans replaced in the last 2 years through this program. When you make a purchase at Sears just ask to sign up for their free Kidvantage program. Whenever your children wear through their clothes just bring them back in and they will replace them free of charge. (Sometimes you will need your receipt) THANK YOU SEARS! I had heard of the program over the years, but had always thought there was cost to sign up or a yearly enrollment fee. This is not the case.
This weekend I was there returning jeans and found some great deals. They had 50% off clearance prices. I have a shop your way reward card from them (similar to a preferred card) and got another 20% off. I bought girls shirts for $3.00, boys jeans for under $10 a pair (which they will replace for free when (not if) they get a hole in them). It made for a great shopping day!
I hope many of you will make use of this program, but I will ask you not to take advantage of the program. (Please do not hand down pants to younger children and keep replacing them using this program.) We would all like Sears to keep this program going for a long time!
